We still had so many favorite products from 2015 that we are just going to share them for the first month of favs for 2016! I (Leesha here) curated this list, so it may or may not have been heavily influenced by pregger hormones.
Biore | Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser:
My Prego hormones got my skin going crayyyyy. I was trying cleanser after moisturizer after cleanser after toner. Didn't worked. I tried finding the perfect combnation. Nothing worked. So then I stripped back to JUST a cleanser. That way if I broke out, I knew exactly what it was. Maybe it's not this face wash specifically, but hey.. It's working for me, so I'm not straying!!! A lot of beauty bloggers out there make me want to have 10+ products to pile on my face (maybe that seems luxurious?!), but honestly keeping it simple has helped my skin SO MUCH, and I bet it would help yours too. You know we love to keep things simple around here.
Joico | Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm:
After one time of using this deep conditioner I could tell such a difference in my hair! This is perfect to use through these wintery dry-air months. I usually use this balm in place of my conditioner, comb it through, let it set for 5-10 minutes, then rinse. Dry/style as usual. This stuff really helps make my hair not a dry frizzy mess! A client of mine purchased some and sent me a message saying that her hair feels like hair again! Yay!!!
Covergirl | Supersizer Mascara:
I know I've listed this as a favorite before, but it is just SO good! Every time I open a new tube I fall in love all over again. Honestly, I have never purchased the same product over and over again as much as I have with this mascara. If you haven't tried it yet, go get one!!
Garnier | BB Cream - daily shine control:
Another re-mention, but I sincerely love it! Most days, surprisingly, I don't wear any makeup. But if I'm going to run an errand, I'll just pop this on my face to look a little more put-together. I can also get away with using this as a regular foundation with a full-on glam look, and it lasts forever! Tip: Start with a smaller amount than what you'd think you'd need. You can always add more! But I find that I just need a small pea-sized amount for great coverage.
Great Expectations | Maternity Tees:
Staple Item Alert! I found these tees at Walmart and wear whichever one is clean on most days. I have the long sleeved ones, but once spring rolls around I'm going to have to find the short sleeved ones! They are super stretchy, super comfy, have a crew neck (so you don't have to worry about cleavage 😁), and come in a variety of neutral colors/patterns. Wins across the board if you ask me!
Have any of you used these products and found that you love them as much as I do? Let me hear what you love about them as well!
