healthy sexy hair | soy tri-wheat leave-in conditioner
I (leesha) recently went to a class hosted by the brand Sexy Hair. The instructor went over all of their products, and this one caught my attention. This is a great "family" product... use it on your children as well as on your own head! I fell in love when I first sprayed it in towel dried hair and combed through. Awesome detangler. THEN, after letting my hair air dry a bit I checked it out again... at LEAST 50-75% LESS FRIZZ. (And let's be honest, my hair is dam. aged. Especially the ends.) This is a lightweight leave in, which means it doesn't make your hair feel heavy and coated in product. If you'd like to see a more in-depth review of this baby (before/afters/etc) let me know! I'd love to show you how great this leave-in is! P.S. This is going to be a great item to pack in your pool/beach bag! Spritz a little in your hair after swimming to help prevent drying out from the chlorine and saltwater!
I know this is random, but hey, why not!? So a while back this company was featured on the TV show Shark Tank. Let me just break the process down for you: Download the app on your phone. Load pictures from your phone to the app (up to 100 at a time). Pay a $2.99 monthly subscription fee (so it WILL come out monthly.. even if you don't use the app. BUT you can cancel for free at any time). Your "groovebook" will be delivered to your doorstep (or mailbox. or po box.). You can tear out your perforated pictures and use in a scrapbook, or leave them in the handy little book they come in! I've been loving this company for almost a year now! Its great for moms of littles, AND you can send loved ones copies of your books for only $2.99/book extra!
I will say, the quality of the pictures are not the BEST. But, again, they were taken on your phone. And, if you are wanting some professional shots printed, you're probably going to order from the photographer anyways. Sure, pictures are not a huge expense if you send them to Walmart or a drug store, but these are literally less than .03 cents a picture. Anyways, I've enjoyed using this app to print pictures of my little guy, so I thought i'd pass along the info! :)

garnier | bb cream
So, we've probably mentioned this gem before. BB (beauty balm) creams are multitasking lightweight foundations that claim to do several things for your skin (including minimize pores, even skin tone, hydrate, protect from the sun, etc). I have used the regular Garnier BB Cream in the past and have loved it. Recently, (post baby?), my face has become an oily mess. Some of my favorite foundation/powder combinations are just not cutting it. After browsing for about 5 minutes yesterday I found TWO recommendations for this same product.. BUT in the combination/oily skin version. So, this is more of a "favorites in reverse" because I haven't actually tried it yet! I plan to do a follow-up with our next months faves, and i'll let you gals know how it's working out! I'm hopeful that this will be my "it's summer, I don't want to wear a lot of makeup" everyday foundation. Do any of you have combination/oily skin issues? Suggestions? Recommendations?
